Level Ledger Level Ledger
The Story

Built by someone who's actually run the bar.

For twenty years I worked behind and around the bar. I loved almost everything about it — except one recurring fight: month-end, when the whole place argued about a number nobody could actually prove.

Stock counted by guesswork. Costs estimated. Prep half-remembered. The inventory was always "about half a bottle", the pour cost was always a shrug, and the gap between the books and the shelf was always someone's fault.

Inventory had become guesswork dressed up as a number. A bar deserves the truth.

So I started building the tool I always wanted behind my own bar — Level Ledger. Not another spreadsheet, not another POS. The operating backbone that runs the bar's day and, when it counts, weighs the truth instead of guessing it.

Organize the operation

Stations ready, prep planned, shifts that don't live in one person's head.

Weigh the truth

Count by weight, resolve every cost to ● Confirmed — not estimated, not guessed.

Keep the money

See the waste that quietly drains your margin, and stop it.

And a belief that shapes all of it: precision shouldn't mean more work — it should mean less. The counting, the typing, the remembering — that's the effort. Setting a bottle down and letting it resolve itself is the shortcut. The best tool is the one your team barely notices they're using.
